Shape young minds as a Registered Early Childhood Educator with the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board. This full-time role focuses on play-based learning in a nurturing environment.

As part of the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board, you will collaborate closely with teachers to deliver high-quality education to Junior and Senior Kindergarten students.

Your role will include leading before and after-school programs and engaging directly with young learners. We seek creative educators passionate about enhancing emotional, cognitive, and social development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with classroom teachers in daily activities

• Implement effective play-based educational programs

• Lead extended before and after-school programs

• Communicate effectively with parents and staff

• Monitor individual child development and needs

Requirements:

• Completion of a two-year Early Childhood Education program

• Registration with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators

• One year of child care experience

• Valid First Aid/CPR certification

• Recent Police Records Check for Vulnerable Sector
