The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board seeks dedicated educational leaders for the Early Childhood Educator position. In collaboration with classroom teachers, you will facilitate play-based education that enhances cognitive and social development. You'll also lead before and after-school programs, enriching the early learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teachers to implement effective play-based education

• Lead extended programs before and after school

• Support Kindergarten students in their daily activities

• Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and students

• Adapt to meet diverse needs in a multicultural environment

Requirements:

• Completion of a two-year Early Childhood Education program

• Registration with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators

• Minimum one year of childcare experience

• Valid First Aid/CPR certification required

• Recent Police Records Check for Vulnerable Sector
