Join the Ottawa Catholic School Board as a Long Term Occasional teacher for Grade 10 Civics/Careers. Contribute to student success with a 0.67
FTE teaching assignment during a leave period.
OCSB is looking for a qualified educator to enhance the learning experience for Grade 10 students. This role emphasizes the importance of engaging curriculums that reflect Catholic values. Strong candidates will possess qualifications that include being in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging Civics and Careers lessons
• Foster a positive learning environment
• Assess student performance and progress
• Collaborate with staff for student success
• Manage classroom dynamics effectively
Requirements:
• Must be registered with Ontario College of Teachers
• Sexual Abuse Prevention Training completed
• Experience relevant to Grade 10 subjects
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Available for the duration of the assignment
