Position: Dynamic Childhood Educator Role at OCDSB
Empower young learners as a Registered Early Childhood Educator at the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board, focusing on enriching educational experiences. This part-time role is ideal for dedicated educational leaders.

In this 50% Regular position, you will work closely with educators to deliver quality play-based learning to Kindergarten students. You will also lead extended programs that enhance children's social, emotional, and cognitive skills while actively participating in daily classroom activities. This role contributes significantly to creating an inclusive learning space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate engaging play-based educational activities

• Collaborate with teaching staff for effective learning

• Lead before and after-school extended programs

• Support social and emotional development of learners

• Adapt methods for a diverse student body

Requirements:

• Completion of a two-year community college program in Early Childhood Education

• Registration in good standing with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators

• One year of childcare experience required

• Valid First Aid certification/CPR

• Police Records Check for the Vulnerable Sector within the last six months
