Student Monitor at Upper

Become a Student Monitor with the Upper Canada District School Board, focusing on student supervision and support. This role includes monitoring during breaks, in halls, and school events.

The Upper Canada District School Board is seeking a Student Monitor to provide general supervision of students under the Principal's guidance. Candidates must possess a secondary school diploma and have six months of experience working with children in a supervisory role. Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to adhere to school policies are required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise students during lunch and nutrition breaks

• Monitor student behavior in halls and on field trips

• Convey acceptable behavior guidelines to students

• Maintain good attendance and ensure a safe environment

• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Secondary school diploma is mandatory

• 6 months of supervisory experience with students

• CPR and First Aid certification is an asset

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Capacity to follow school policies effectively
