UCDSB Kindergarten Early Childhood Educator

Location: Carleton Place

Foster a love for learning as a Registered Early Childhood Educator with Upper Canada District School Board, supporting students in their kindergarten journey.

This position requires collaboration with teachers to create safe, engaging learning experiences tailored to the needs of each student. Utilize your knowledge of child development to guide children, build relationships with families, and adapt to diverse classroom settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create inclusive learning environments for students

• Supervise and ensure student safety at all times

• Apply behaviour management techniques effectively

• Promote social skills through interactive play

• Collect data for communication of student progress

Requirements:

• Degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent diploma

• Registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators

• 2-3 years of experience in child care settings

• Knowledge of kindergarten curriculum practices

• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities
