Early Childhood Educator at OCDSB

Elevate early learning at the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board as a Registered Early Childhood Educator. Collaborate with teachers to provide play-based education for Kindergarten students in a supportive environment.

The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board is looking for passionate and committed educators for its full-day Early Learning Program. This is a 100% regular role, focusing on cognitive, emotional, and social development for young learners. You will also lead extended before and after-school programs and work closely with classroom teachers in daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement play-based curriculum for Junior and Senior Kindergarten

• Lead extended programs before and after school

• Collaborate with teachers on classroom activities

• Ensure student well-being and development

• Create a respectful and inclusive learning atmosphere

Requirements:

• Two-year community college Early Childhood Education program

• License with Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators

• Minimum one year of childcare experience

• Valid First Aid/CPR certification

• Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Records Check
