Designated Early Childhood Educator Position

Make an impact in early childhood education as a Designated Early Childhood Educator. Partner with teachers to provide a full-day learning program within a Catholic classroom environment.

This 10-month position requires a dedicated educator to implement faith-based programming while supervising students in a supportive environment. You'll work Monday to Friday, 7 hours a day, fostering a nurturing atmosphere and effectively communicating with children and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with classroom teachers on program planning

• Supervise groups of students during activities

• Implement age-appropriate Catholic learning initiatives

• Ensure adherence to Ministry of Education guidelines

• Address classroom management and emergency situations

Requirements:

• Two-year Early Childhood Education Diploma

• Registered and in good standing with The College of Early Childhood Educators

• Six months minimum childcare experience required

• Current CPR and First Aid Certification

• Knowledge of educational legislation and policies
