The Lazaridis School at Wilfrid Laurier University seeks a qualified instructor for the Winter 2027 term running from January to April. This in-person course provides an in-depth understanding of business law, including tort law and contracts, crucial for business students. Candidates will facilitate learning for a large group, emphasizing real-world applications of law through case studies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver lectures on pertinent business law topics
• Analyze and discuss real court cases with students
• Develop and refine course materials for clarity
• Provide timely support and mentorship to students
• Collaborate with faculty to align course delivery
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree and LLB/JD qualification
• Practicing member of Ontario's Law Society
• Experience in teaching large classes preferred
• Proven ability to explain complex legal concepts
• Great communication and interpersonal skills
