Become an Independent Lessons Teacher at Long & McQuade's Lesson Centre in Hawkesbury, Ontario. Teach saxophone, brass, and woodwinds to students of all ages on a flexible contract basis.
Long & McQuade is seeking experienced music educators for their on-site Lesson Centres. Ideal candidates will hold a music degree or diploma, or have significant teaching experience, particularly with multiple instruments. Availability during weekdays, weeknights, and weekends is essential to meet the needs of a diverse student base.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide lessons in saxophone, brass, and woodwinds
• Develop tailored lesson plans for individuals and groups
• Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods
• Foster a positive learning environment for all ages
• Maintain an engaging curriculum aligned with musical standards
Requirements:
• Music degree or diploma from a recognized institution
• Minimum Grade 8 RCM standing with Grade 2 Rudiments
• Previous teaching experience with various age groups
• Proficient in standard teaching methods and lesson planning
• Availability during weekdays and weekends
