Registered Early Childhood Educator UCDSB

Advance the future of young learners as a Registered Early Childhood Educator with the Upper Canada District School Board. Collaborate with classroom teachers to enhance the kindergarten experience through thoughtful planning and implementation.

This role focuses on fostering children's growth in a supportive environment. In partnership with educators, you will develop and assess engaging learning experiences. Your understanding of early childhood development and curriculum will be essential as you communicate effectively with families and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teaching staff to plan learning experiences

• Supervise students ensuring their care and safety

• Guide student development through play activities

• Maintain positive communication with parents and guardians

• Participate in student assessments and evaluations

Requirements:

• University degree in early child development or related diploma

• Registration in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant child care experience

• Strong understanding of early childhood curriculum

• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
