Support History Criminological Thoughts as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Ottawa’s Main Campus during the 2027 Winter Semester. Use criminology knowledge across student-focused course tasks.
This in-person CUPE appointment supports CRM
1301, section B00, in the Faculty of Social Sciences. The work includes discussion groups, marking papers and exams, office hours, and exam proctoring. One position is available for 117 total hours from January 1 through April 30, 2027.
- Facilitate discussion groups for enrolled students
- Mark student papers and examinations
- Meet individually with students during office hours
- Proctor examinations as assigned
- Attend lectures when requested by the supervisor
- Bachelor of Arts Honours in Criminology or equivalent
- Meet deadlines established by the supervising professor
- Availability for in-person course responsibilities
- Ability to complete mandatory legislated University training
- English language of work
