Support Introduction to Macroeconomics at the University of Ottawa’s Main Campus as a Teaching Assistant using grading and student assistance skills.
This CUPE Teaching Assistant assignment supports ECO
1102 F00 during the 2027 Winter Semester. The work is in person and conducted in English, under Professor Jamal Hejazi’s supervision. The position serves a course with expected enrolment of 244 students and includes 130 total hours from January 1 through April 30, 2027.
- Correct and administer assignments and examinations
- Invigilate examinations as requested by the professor
- Assist students individually or in groups
- Complete other related tasks requested by the professor
- BA Honours in Economics or equivalent
- Successfully completed ECO
1102 or an equivalent course - Knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, and Brightspace is an asset
- Complete mandatory legislated University training when required
- Work in English and in person
