Support History of Economic Thought students as an Economics Teaching Assistant at the University of Ottawa’s Main Campus in person. Apply your economics knowledge in English.
This CUPE teaching assistant assignment supports ECO-3132, section A00, during the 2027 Winter Semester. The role involves grading assignments and exams, invigilating examinations, assisting students individually or in groups, and completing related tasks requested by the professor. One position is available under the supervision of David Gray.
Key Responsibilities:- Correct and administer assignments and examinations
- Invigilate examinations as requested by the professor
- Assist students individually or in groups
- Complete other related tasks requested by the professor
- Bachelor of Arts Honours in Economics or equivalent
- Successfully completed History of Economic Thought or equivalent course
- Knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, and Brightspace is an asset
- Complete mandatory legislated University training
