Teach a multi-grade elementary assignment with the Ottawa Catholic School Board, covering a teacher’s leave through a Long Term Occasional placement. Support students across scheduled Grade 5/6, Grade 2, and Grade 4 blocks.
The OCSB seeks a Long Term Occasional teacher for the noted school and assignment. The successful applicant will provide coverage for a teacher on leave across the listed elementary grades and instructional blocks. This opportunity is with OECTA and serves a board supporting over 50,000 students in 91 schools.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide coverage for a teacher on leave
- Teach the scheduled Grade 5/6 blend in the morning
- Teach Grade 2 during block three
- Teach the Grade 4 blend during block four
- Support students through assigned instructional coverage
- Good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
- Successful completion of OCT Sexual Abuse Prevention Training
- OCSB employees must apply using their OCSB ATE account
- OCSB employees must apply using their OCSB email address
- External teachers may need to pass the OT interview process
