Support Introduction à la criminologie as a French Teaching Assistant at the University of Ottawa’s Main Campus during winter 2027. Use criminology knowledge in person.
This Teaching Assistant assignment supports CRM
1700, Section D00, in the Department of Criminology. The work includes discussion groups, grading papers and exams, student office hours, and exam proctoring. You must follow the supervisor’s deadlines and attend lectures when requested. The course is offered in French and has expected enrolment of 244 students.
- Facilitate discussion groups for Introduction à la criminologie
- Mark papers and examinations for CRM
1700 - Hold office hours and meet with students
- Proctor examinations as assigned
- Meet deadlines set by the supervisor
- Bachelor of Arts Honours in Criminology or equivalent
- Ability to work in French
- Availability to attend lectures when requested
- Commitment to the suggested work schedule
- Completion of mandatory legislated training
