Support kindergarten learning as a Term Early Childhood Educator with the Ottawa Catholic School Board in Ottawa, Ontario. Partner with teachers and design play-based programs.
The Ottawa Catholic School Board seeks a term Early Childhood Educator for a school assignment. Under the Principal’s direction, you will plan and implement full-day early learning programs with classroom teachers. You will collaborate on high-quality play-based environments and support children’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development. This work takes place within a Catholic learning environment and as part of the Early Learning program team.
Key Responsibilities:- Partner with classroom teachers to plan full-day early learning
- Implement programs with classroom teachers
- Design effective play-based programs and environments
- Support children’s physical and cognitive development
- Foster emotional and social development within Catholic learning
- Early Childhood Education diploma or degree
- Registration with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Education
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Recent kindergarten-age children experience preferred
- Availability throughout the term assignment dates
