Teach Introduction to Criminology as a Teaching Assistant at Main Campus, using discussion facilitation, grading, student meetings, and exam proctoring.
The University of Ottawa seeks one CUPE Teaching Assistant for CRM
1300 during the 2027 Winter Semester. The in-person assignment supports the Faculty of Social Sciences and Department of Criminology. Work runs from January 1 through April 30, 2027, totaling 117 hours.
- Facilitate discussion groups for Introduction to Criminology
- Mark student papers and examinations
- Hold office hours and meet with students
- Proctor examinations as assigned
- Attend lectures when requested by the supervisor
- Bachelor of Arts Honours in Criminology or equivalent
- Meet deadlines established by the supervising professor
- Availability to attend lectures when requested
- Complete mandatory legislated University training
- Work in English during in-person course delivery
Support CRM
1300 students through discussion groups, grading, office hours, and proctoring at the University of Ottawa.
