Teach Engineering Mechanics in person at the University of Ottawa’s Main Campus, applying subject knowledge and communication skills. Support GNG
1105 students during winter 2027.
This Teaching Assistant supports the course supervisor in the Faculty of Engineering. The work covers direct student contact, marking, and proctoring for section
F. Duties and hour allocation will be specified by the supervisor before work begins.
- Provide teaching assistance to the course supervisor
- Maintain direct contact with students
- Mark course work as assigned
- Proctor the final examination
- Complete duties specified by the supervisor
- Strong knowledge of Engineering Mechanics
- Excellent communication skills
- Availability in person throughout course session C
- Availability to proctor the final examination
- Ability to complete mandatory legislated training
