Support Current Issues in Criminology as a Teaching Assistant at Main Campus, using discussion facilitation and examination proctoring skills in person.
The University of Ottawa seeks one Teaching Assistant for CRM
4328, Section B00, during the 2027 Winter Semester. The course examines Canadian Criminal Law Through ‘Modern Lenses’ within the Department of Criminology. Responsibilities may include discussion groups, marking papers and exams, student office hours, and exam proctoring. The student must meet supervisor deadlines and attend lectures when requested.
- Facilitate discussion groups for criminology students
- Mark papers and examinations
- Hold office hours for student consultations
- Proctor examinations as required
- Attend lectures when requested by the supervisor
- Bachelor of Arts Honours in Criminology or equivalent
- Commitment to supervisor-set work deadlines
- Availability for in-person course attendance
- English language of work
- Completion of mandatory legislated University training
