Support Qualitative Research in Criminology as an in-person Teaching Assistant at the University of Ottawa’s Main Campus. Facilitate discussions and mark coursework.
This Teaching Assistant assignment supports CRM
3335 H00 in the Faculty of Social Sciences during the 2027 Winter Semester. Responsibilities include discussion groups, marking papers and exams, office hours, and exam proctoring. The position serves an expected enrolment of 35 students. Work takes place in English from January 1 through April 30, 2027, for 78 total hours.
- Facilitate discussion groups for Qualitative Research in Criminology
- Mark student papers and examinations
- Hold office hours for student consultations
- Proctor examinations as scheduled
- Attend lectures when requested by the supervisor
- BA Honours in Criminology or equivalent
- Meet deadlines established by the supervising professor
- Availability to attend lectures when requested
- Complete mandatory legislated University training
- Work in English during the in-person course
