Risk Control Consultants – Independent Contractor
Davies North America is seeking experienced professional consultants to provide risk control services on an independent contractor basis. The work spans property and casualty inspections, risk assessment, and reduction of exposures to minimize accidents, injuries, losses, and claims.

- Progressive career advancement with technical skills; continuing education and a degree in Fire Protection,
B.Sc., or M.Sc. are required. - Professional designations of EIT, P.Eng., CRM, CRSP, CIT, CIP are highly desirable.
- Strong working knowledge and proven success in two or more of the following areas: HPR/large property, Business Interruption;
Construction related operations;
Commercial Fleet Operations;
General Liability, Products Liability, Life Safety;
Environmental Assessments;
Safety Training, Workplace Safety, Ergonomics, Industrial Hygiene;
Hazard Analysis and Consulting.
- Ideal candidate will have the ability to travel.
- Certified instructor/trainer and presentation skills are desirable.
- Completion of insurance institute courses.
- Bi-lingual is highly preferred – English & French.
- Consultative and client service approach.
- Self-management, personal drive, and pride in your work.
- Ability to write clear, concise, yet comprehensive reports.
- Computer skills including use of typical office software packages.
- Ability to operate a vehicle and visit client policyholders on site.
- Some overnight travel when needed.
- Work from your home office as an Independent Contractor.
