Position: Ottawa Power Line Technician Needed
Be part of Alstom's mission for sustainable mobility as a full-time Power Line Technician in Ottawa, ON. Engage in critical tasks involving power isolation and health and safety compliance.

As a Power Line Technician, you'll execute power isolation tasks crucial for safe operations within the rail system, requiring adherence to strict legislation and company standards. You will participate in infrastructure maintenance and emergency response activities, using computerized systems to report and manage your work efficiently. Collaboration with subcontractors and team members is essential during regular briefings and special conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement power isolation processes effectively

• Engage in maintenance of infrastructure assets

• Participate in accident rescue operations

• Report maintenance activities in a computerized system

• Supervise subcontractor work during projects

Requirements:

• Journey Man Electrician or equivalent education mandatory

• Power line work experience preferred

• Strong English proficiency for communication

• Capable of lifting up to 60 lbs

• Willingness to work nights and weekends as necessary
