The OpportunityInnovate and Lead – Step into a global leadership role where your expertise in mine hydrogeology will shape the future of mining water strategies. As a Principal Mine Hydrogeologist, you’ll guide multidisciplinary teams and deliver strategic insights across all stages of the mining lifecycle—from exploration to closure.
Your Impact- Deliver high-level consulting services in mine water management, hydrogeology, and environmental impact assessments for global mining clients.
- Lead and mentor a team of hydro geologists, geotechnical engineers, and scientists to elevate technical excellence and career growth.
- Direct complex, multi-disciplinary projects, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.
- Collaborate with global technical practice groups to advance innovation and visibility in mine water solutions.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through strategic advisory and business development initiatives.
- 15+ years of experience in mining hydrogeology, with a strong track record across the full mining lifecycle.
- MSc or PhD in Hydrogeology (or equivalent), with a BSc in geology, civil engineering, mining, or environmental science.
- Professional designation (e.g., P.Geo or equivalent) and eligibility for registration in Canada.
- Proven leadership in delivering large-scale, multi-disciplinary mining projects.
- Experience with groundwater monitoring, aquifer testing, and numerical modeling tools (e.g., MODFLOW, FEFLOW, GIS).
- Willingness and ability to travel locally and internationally to support project delivery and client engagement.
- Passion for shaping sustainable mining practices and driving innovation in water management.
