• Engineer, design, develop and test new embedded hardware at the forefront of technology
• Support and enhance existing embedded hardware
• Apply established development processes and assist in process improvement
• Analyze requirements, research and identify solutions and develop the design
• Generate complete and accurate user and design documentation
• Provide input to architecture and design reviews
• Provide input and evaluation of new technologies and products
• Keep current with embedded hardware trends and share knowledge
• Contribute to the release of manufacturing technical data packages for products
• Participate in maintaining a positive and productive atmosphere within the team

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Computer, or equivalent
• Strong experience in hardware board level development and hands‑on lab experience
• Experience/familiarity in the following is an asset:
  • Experience working with a multi‑disciplined team
  • Familiar with a product development process
  • Familiar with hardware test equipment – logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.
  • Familiarity with principles of high‑speed digital circuit board design including signal integrity concepts
  • Design capture tools (preferably Mentor Graphics)
  • Requirements capture, analysis, and tracking
  • Hobby projects with Raspberry Pi and/or Arduino
  • Familiarity with FPGAs
