Structural Test Engineer

Overview

Job Description We are currently seeking a Structural Test Engineer to define Test Strategy, Test SW and HW required for cost-effective, automated test solutions for manufacturing of network equipment.

• Define Test Strategy, Test SW and HW required for cost-effective, automated test solutions for manufacturing of network equipment
• Review and contribute to technical documentation (schematics, test specifications, test layout, product testability)
• Technical interface between R&D, EMS partners and Nokia Supply Chain
• Develop stand-alone boundary scan solutions to support product test from prototype development through to volume manufacturing
• Interface with 3rd party suppliers for the development and installation of In-Circuit test solutions at global EMS locations

Qualifications:

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Engineering or Technologist Diploma
• 7+ years of professional test experience in development of test solutions on Keysight 3070 Automated Test Equipment (ATE)
• Good understanding of Supply Chain processes
• Coding/scripting experience
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Analog and Digital Functional Test SW and HW for testing of electronic assemblies (Components, PCBA, Module, System)
• Ability to perform in a team environment and work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and providing global support to resolve manufacturing issues

• Experience with Asset-Intertech Scanworks test software
• Knowledge of test methodology and testing techniques
• Debug and failure root cause analysis skills
• Willingness to travel (domestic and international)
• Knowledge of graphical test development tool like NI LABVIEW, test sequencer NI TESTSTAND and C#
