Develop and test embedded real‑time DSP and control systems for advanced applications, including programming Nokia's Optical Modem ASIC, performing MATLAB and C++ modeling for system design, conducting real‑time firmware coding and API development, and contributing to digital ASIC simulation for system optimization and validation.
Your responsibilities- Develop embedded real-time DSP and control systems for advanced applications.
- Program and test embedded control systems for Infinera's state‑of‑the‑art Optical Modem ASIC.
- Perform MATLAB simulations and hardware modeling in C++ to support system design.
- Conduct real‑time firmware coding, testing, and database API development.
- Contribute to digital ASIC simulation for system optimization and validation.
You have:
- Bachelor's or master's in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Combinatronics and Optimization, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited school in Canada.
- Proficiency in C and C++ programming.
- Experience using MATLAB for technical applications.
- Knowledge in DSP, control theory, and communications theory through coursework.
It would be nice if you also had:
- Previous intern experience at Nokia or Infinera.
