Join Salas O’Brien Canada as a Resident Site Engineer for the revolutionary Ottawa Civic Hospital project. This role offers a unique opportunity from 2026 to 2030 to make a lasting impact. In this Intermediate or Senior Engineer role, you act as the essential link between the design teams and in office personnel.
You’ll tackle technical challenges and streamline project delivery, ensuring quality and timely compliance with contract documents. Your leadership will be key to managing a structural endeavour that reshapes healthcare in Canada.
Key Responsibilities:- Liaise with clients and communicate project progress
- Conduct site reviews and administrate construction services
- Co‑ordinate site issues with design teams
- Gather and distribute inspection reports
- Analyze structural testing and inspection results
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering specialized in Structural Engineering
- At least 5 years of relevant experience
- Understanding of construction sequencing and schedules
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam Revu
- PEO registration is an asset
