CNL Calibration Laboratory Supervisor

Location: Chalk River

Supervise laboratory operations at CNL’s Calibration Lab in Chalk River, ensuring compliance with quality standards in radiation protection. This role demands strong leadership and technical proficiency.

In this role, as a Calibration Laboratory Supervisor, you will oversee the lab’s daily functions and direct staff to achieve customer-focused results. Engage in continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring documentation and regulatory standards are upheld. Leadership capabilities and a scientific background will drive success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct lab staff and operational procedures

• Plan and monitor calibration workload effectively

• Approve technical documents including calibration reports

• Implement staff training and track competency progress

• Manage customer relations and address service inquiries

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Engineering, Sciences, or Quality Control

• Experience supervising technical teams in labs

• Knowledge of quality assurance and calibration practices

• Familiarity with radiation protection regulations

• Excellent problem-solving and detail-oriented skills

Lead the Calibration Lab at CNL and ensure top-tier service in radiation protection.
