Join WSP as an Experienced Environmental Consultant in Ottawa, focusing on contaminated lands and remediation projects for diverse clients. Lead assessments, manage teams, and build client relationships effectively.
As a key member of the Contaminated Lands team, you will manage Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments, applying your expertise in regulatory compliance and project management. Your role involves coordinating field programs, supervising staff, and executing site remediation projects. A focus on client service and business development will also be essential.
Key Responsibilities- Lead environmental site assessment and remediation projects
- Supervise and mentor junior staff in various settings
- Develop proposals and work programs for projects
- Review environmental data and prepare technical reports
- Maintain solid relationships with clients for business growth
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science or Engineering
- 5–7 years of experience in environmental consulting
- Knowledge of Ontario regulations (O.Reg. 153/04 & 406/19)
- Excellent communication and detail orientation
- Valid driver’s license for local fieldwork
