Join a leading LEO satellite network as a User Terminal Modem RF Engineer in Ottawa, ON. Utilize your RF expertise in a hybrid work setup to advance cutting-edge technologies.
In this full-time role, you will take ownership of RF module performance supporting DVB-S/S2/S2X operations. Your experience will drive RF architecture decisions, compliance across variables, and participation in design reviews. Collaborate with manufacturing and firmware teams while ensuring adherence to best practices in RF design and production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define RF architecture specifications and maintain performance metrics
• Review and approve RF schematics and PCB layouts
• Lead DFM/DFT/DFS reviews for production readiness
• Develop RF and system-level test procedures
• Provide ongoing support for deployed RF hardware
Requirements:
•
B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 3-6 years in RF hardware support
• Strong understanding of RF components and engineering principles
• Familiarity with DVB physical-layer metrics
• Hands-on experience with testing tools and automation
