Our Water group is seeking Co-op Students to join our team in the Ottawa, ON office for a4 month term starting in September 2026.
Your Key Responsibilities
Assisting the engineers and designers in a variety of field and office assignments that include research,writing reports, conceptual,preliminary and detailed designs of municipal infrastructure, pumping stations, water/wastewater treatment plants,sewers, water mains, roads,surveying, field inspections, data processing, modeling etc.
QualificationsYour Capabilities and Credentials
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and take direction
Knowledge of provincial and federal regulations, policies, and programs, are a plus
Education and Experience
In progress toward earning aBachelor'sdegree (minimum) in civil, water resources or environmental engineering or related field.
Specific coursework or exposure to one or more of the following:
Planning, design, construction of water/wastewater infrastructure, and construction management, Environmental water/wastewater treatment processes, Advanced and emerging technologies.
Typical office environment working with computers and working at a desk forlong periodsof time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.

About the TeamPay Transparency:In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
