Drive environmental compliance as a Senior Mining Practitioner. Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver impactful permitting solutions for clients in the mining industry.
In your role, you'll oversee environmental permitting processes and regulatory compliance for a variety of clients in the mining sector. You will take charge of complex projects and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and successful outcomes. Your leadership will significantly influence project direction and stakeholder interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage environmental permitting and assessment processes
• Develop business relationships to enhance project opportunities
• Coordinate proposal creation and reporting efforts
• Conduct regulatory desktop research
• Communicate effectively with clients and regulatory bodies
Requirements:
• 15 years of progressive experience in mining consulting
• In-depth knowledge of Canadian mining regulations
• Degree in Environmental Sciences, Planning, or related fields
• History of leading successful environmental assessments
• Demonstrated skills in building industry connections
