Job Description

Are you a skilled CAD technician with experience in printing pre‑press and structural design? Do you have the skills to create and prepare print‑ready packaging designs? If so, we are looking for a Printing Pre‑Press and Structural CAD Technician to join our team and play a pivotal role in bringing our clients’ packaging visions to life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand packaging requirements and objectives.
  • Create and modify print‑ready packaging designs using CAD software.
  • Design and develop innovative carton packaging structures that meet client specifications and industry standards.
  • Create 2D and 3D prototypes and mock‑ups to visualize design concepts.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and material analysis to ensure cost‑effectiveness and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure seamless transition from design to manufacturing.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and materials to bring fresh ideas to the table.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients and colleagues.
  • Review and revise designs based on client feedback and production constraints.
  • Ensure that packaging designs comply with regulatory and safety standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Printing Pre‑Press and Structural CAD Technician.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., ESKO, Artios

    CAD, Key Shot) and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of packaging paper, production processes, and printing techniques.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
  • Effective communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.
  • Familiarity with sustainability practices and eco‑friendly packaging solutions is a plus.
  • Portfolio showcasing previous packaging design and pre‑press projects.
