As an intern in the Coherent Modem Transmission group, you will actively participate in the characterization of optical devices.
Your role involves developing MATLAB scripts for testing and analysis, modeling electro-optic components, and collaborating with teams on system integration to ensure optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Characterize advanced optical devices in the lab
• Develop and execute Matlab scripts for automation
• Model and simulate components for performance predictions
• Partner with firmware and PCB design teams for integration
Requirements:
• Enrolled in a Bachelor's program in relevant fields
• Proficient in communication and problem-solving
• Experience with programming in Matlab, Python, or C/C++/C#
• Lab experience with test equipment is advantageous
