Join our team as a Base Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, where your expertise ensures aircraft airworthiness in Ottawa and Montreal. This role demands meticulous management of maintenance activities with full regulatory compliance.
The Base AME will be responsible for multiple aircraft, performing essential maintenance and supporting operations across both YOW and YUL. Key duties include disassembling aircraft systems, managing technical records, and troubleshooting issues to guarantee reliability. Occasional travel is required to meet operational needs effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage maintenance for Challenger 605 and King Air aircraft
• Ensure compliance with all company and regulatory standards
• Diagnose and repair aircraft defects as needed
• Keep precise records of all maintenance activities
• Perform all work per Transport Canada guidance
Requirements:
• Canadian AME M2 license is mandatory
• Five years of M2 experience required
• Certification in Challenger 605 & King Air advantageous
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to manage flexible work schedules and travel
