Take on a critical role as an Engineering Delivery Manager for Thales in Ottawa, Canada. This opportunity emphasizes technical leadership and project management within a dynamic engineering environment.
Thales is looking for an Engineering Delivery Manager to join the AJISS Engineering Change (EC) team. In this role, you will lead an integrated technical team, manage engineering tasks, and align project schedules with the business rhythm. Your ability to influence and guide teams will be pivotal in meeting project objectives effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direction and technical guidance to project teams
• Develop and maintain project governance and execution standards
• Create detailed technical schedules to track milestones
• Oversee compliance with project requirements and client acceptance
• Manage risk assessment and develop mitigation strategies
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant experience
• Minimum of 10 years of technical experience, with 4 in project management
• Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies
• Ability to obtain NATO Secret security clearance
• Familiarity with tools like MS Project and Confluence
