Position: Expert Senior Consultant on Grid Interconnections
Make a difference at Sargent & Lundy as a Senior Grid Interconnection Consultant. This remote role prioritizes your expertise in power systems, focusing on utility planning and advisory services.
With a strong emphasis on transmission analysis, you will prepare generator interconnection applications, perform advanced studies, and guide ISO/RTO clients through system impact evaluations. A minimum of 6 years' experience in the field will be essential for successfully managing complex engagement projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze transmission planning and load flow studies

• Create and assess generator interconnection applications

• Guide clients through ISO feasibility and impact studies

• Use modeling software for stability and contingency analysis

• Foster automation initiatives to streamline engineering processes
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering mandatory

• At least 6 years of power systems engineering experience

• Proficiency in software like PSS/E, PSLF, or TARA

• Experience with Python or similar programming desirable

• Advanced understanding of power systems and ISOs/RTOs is beneficial
