Position: Telesat Infrastructure Engineering Expert
Telesat seeks a Civil Engineering Specialist specializing in Earth Station infrastructure. Utilize your technical expertise to support groundbreaking satellite technology across Canada and internationally.
This role is based in Ottawa and involves technical reviews and specialized civil engineering design for Telesat's diverse infrastructure projects. Ideal candidates have 5–10 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, specifically focusing on the support structures for satellite antennas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert design and assessment for civil works on Earth Stations

• Conduct technical oversight for new builds and retrofits

• Analyze soil conditions for site-specific foundation solutions

• Create engineering documentation and specifications

• Assist with customer-driven engineering activities and proposals
Requirements:

• Civil Engineering degree from an accredited Canadian university

• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation preferred

• Experience in civil site works for satellite infrastructure

• Familiarity with stormwater management and erosion control

• Strong communication skills for stakeholder interaction
