Become an integral part of CNL as an Operations Specialist at our Chalk River Laboratory. This fully onsite role emphasizes technical oversight, budgeting, and safety in operations while handling critical facility systems.

As an Operations Specialist at CNL, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of essential facility systems.

Your role involves providing technical and budgeting oversight while supporting system maintenance in a nuclear environment. This position requires knowledge of nuclear operations and encompasses cross-training in multiple facilities for a well-rounded expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical and scheduling oversight for facility operations

• Assist with system maintenance and technical support

• Ensure safe operation of facility systems, especially for radioactive materials

• Cross-train to operate multiple facilities efficiently

• Respond to and manage emergencies with calmness and professionalism

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Engineering or Science from recognized university

• Experience in nuclear operations is preferred

• General knowledge of nuclear, mechanical, and electrical systems

• Effective communication abilities in high-pressure situations

• Security clearance eligibility for Level 2 Secret
