The Standards Council of Canada is seeking Contract Assessors for its Laboratory Accreditation Program. Engage in technical assessments both onsite and remotely while ensuring laboratory compliance.
In this role with the Standards Council of Canada (SCC), successful candidates will join a pool of assessors focused on evaluating laboratory proficiency. You will conduct interviews, review documentation, and provide recommendations for improvements based on your findings. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are essential for interacting with various stakeholders in a deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with SCC to outline inspection scope
• Execute interviews as part of competency assessments
• Analyze records for compliance with criteria
• Observe work to verify adherence to procedures
• Report findings and suggest improvements to the Lead Inspector
Requirements:
• Canadian Citizen/Permanent Resident/Work VISA for contract duration
• Strong analytical and technical skills
• Detail-oriented and sound judgment
• Familiarity with web-based communication tools
• Capability to travel occasionally across Canada and the U.S.
