Position: PCB Designer at ORBCOMM
Become a PCB Designer at ORBCOMM in Ottawa, Ontario, and dive into a world of electrical and mechanical design! This role emphasizes collaboration, technical documentation, and design automation in a full-time, on-site capacity.
You will be an essential part of the design team, contributing 5+ years of PCB design experience. In this role, your expertise in advanced ECAD/DFM tools like Altium Designer and Cadence Allegro will be crucial, alongside strong knowledge of high-speed design, multilayer stack-ups, and EMC/EMI practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead layout design for multilayer PCBs

• Translate electrical schematics into robust layouts

• Define design standards and stack-ups

• Collaborate with teams on signal and power integrity

• Maintain fabrication and assembly documentation
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering

• 5+ years of PCB design experience

• Proficiency in industry-standard design tools

• Understanding of DFM/DFA/DFT principles

• Familiarity with IPC standards and certification
