Become a vital part of Wind River as an OS Engineer focusing on the next generation real-time operating system in Kanata, ON. Your expertise will shape innovative OS technologies and drive product excellence through agile methodologies.
In this role, you will utilize over eight years of technical experience in operating systems development. Your key tasks will include designing OS components, delivering high-quality code, and resolving product verification issues. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to integrate hardware and software solutions effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop technologies for the next gen RTOS
• Deliver high-quality code following CI/CD practices
• Investigate and fix issues during product verification
• Create comprehensive design documents and conduct reviews
• Collaborate with teams to integrate solutions
Requirements:
• 8+ years in OS development, including kernel experience
• Proficient in C and understanding of OS concepts
• Familiarity with assembly, C++, Python is a plus
• Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills
• Experience in compliance with industry standards
