Our Client is searching for a mid-senior level Field Applications Engineer to guide enterprise customers in photonic design and workflow automation. This role requires collaboration with PIC designers, EDA vendors, and foundries to transform engineering challenges into effective AI-assisted workflows. You’ll be pivotal in improving design quality, manufacturability, and speeding up development processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design AI workflows for photonic verification and simulation

• Translate complex processes into physics-grounded workflows

• Identify photonic development bottlenecks and create scalable solutions

• Collaborate with photonic designers and EDA vendors

• Support customers throughout deployment and integration
Requirements:

• MSc or PhD in related fields

• 5+ years of integrated photonics experience

• Strong skills with photonic simulation tools

• Experience with advanced photonic components design

• Excellent communication with technical stakeholders
