We are hiring a Silicon Validation Technician with hands‑on experience in silicon validation, electronics lab support, board‑level troubleshooting, soldering, and hardware rework. This role will support silicon characterization and validation activities by operating test equipment, collecting data, assisting engineers, and maintaining lab hardware.

This role requires rotational shift support, including evening, night, and weekend coverage. Candidates must be comfortable working 2nd and 3rd shifts after the initial training period. The first 2 weeks will follow a standard day‑shift schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Operate ATE systems and evaluation boards for data collection
  • Assist in building, assembling, and maintaining board kits
  • Support data analysis and report preparation
  • Perform board‑level hardware rework and modifications
  • Manage lab operations and hardware tracking
  • Ensure ESD and lab safety compliance
  • Support engineers with silicon characterization and validation activities
  • Work independently in a lab environment during off‑shift hours
Required Qualifications
  • Diploma or equivalent technical qualification
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in electronics, silicon validation, hardware validation, or lab support
  • Strong soldering, debugging, and rework skills
  • PCB and board‑level troubleshooting knowledge
  • Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, and related test tools
  • Ability to operate test equipment and collect accurate validation data
  • Ability to work independently in a lab environment
  • Good communication and documentation skills
  • Comfortable working rotational shifts, including evening, night, and weekend support
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with ATE systems
  • Experience with evaluation boards or silicon characterization boards
  • Experience supporting semiconductor validation or post‑silicon validation labs
  • Knowledge of ESD procedures and lab safety practices
  • Experience with hardware tracking, lab inventory, or board kit management
