Bilingual Forensic Civil Engineer

Join CEP Forensic Inc. in Ottawa as a Bilingual Civil Engineer and tackle unique structural engineering challenges. Utilize your expertise in investigations and analyses to determine the probable causes of damage.
In this role, you will work as a forensic expert focused on Structural Forensic Engineering. With over 5 years of experience, you will analyze various structural failures, conduct compliance reviews, and prepare detailed reports. Your bilingual skills in French and English will enhance communication with clients and stakeholders while representing the company professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Document scenes and assess damage causes

• Investigate structural collapses and related damages

• Conduct structural analysis and compliance reviews

• Manage building permit applications

• Prepare expert witness reports and testify in Court
Requirements:

• University degree in Structural or Civil Engineering

• P.Eng. license in Ontario;
Québec license is a strong asset

• 5+ years of consulting or construction experience

• Strong bilingual communication skills

• Knowledge of relevant Construction Codes and Standards
