Position: Senior Submarine Engineering Lead at BMT
Lead submarine engineering initiatives with BMT, based in Halifax, NS;
Ottawa, ON; or Victoria, BC. This full-time role involves technical leadership and long-term overseas deployments.
As a Senior Submarine Engineering Lead, you will support the International Submarine Program Manager in delivering projects and managing comprehensive technical activities. You will coordinate lengthy overseas deployments and guide a team of engineers, ensuring excellence in design, integration, and systems management. Your expertise will help advance BMT's mission for a safer and effective marine environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support project management for submarine programs

• Guide technical teams during overseas deployments

• Develop risk assessments and work schedules

• Prepare briefs and presentations for stakeholders

• Ensure compliance with quality and project standards
Requirements:

• Degree in Marine Engineering discipline

• 15+ years in marine engineering environments

• Minimum 5 years in submarine engineering

• Eligible for Canadian security clearance

• Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications
