Key Responsibilities:

• Create forward error correction designs for optical systems

• Analyze problems in signal processing and coding theory

• Collaborate with DSP and system teams for product innovation

• Model solutions in MATLAB for practical implementation

• Provide feedback on existing design procedures

Requirements:

• Ph.D. or Master’s in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science

• Exposure to coding theory and digital communications

• Familiarity with FEC types including LDPC

• C/C++ programming knowledge preferred

• Willingness to learn optical physics concepts
