Join Eldorado Gold as a Senior Long-Term Planning Engineer and contribute to the McIlvenna Bay project. This position offers a full-time role with a 14/14 rotation schedule focused on sustainable mining practices.
Reporting to the Chief Mine Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing life-of-mine plans that support safety and profitability. This role requires collaboration with geology and metallurgical teams while providing technical leadership to optimize resource use. Your responsibilities will drive essential improvements across mine planning and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and communicate production schedules
• Conduct strategic planning and life-of-mine forecasts
• Analyze operational scenarios for improvement
• Promote engineering best practices and safety culture
• Prepare production reports with key performance metrics
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mine Engineering or related
• 7+ years of underground mining experience
• Eligible for Professional Engineer registration in Saskatchewan
• Strong understanding of mining operations and regulations
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
