Environmental Impact Assessment Director

Lead dynamic Environmental Impact Assessments with WSP as the Technical Director in Canada. Oversee projects in nuclear power, renewable energy, and infrastructure while promoting sustainable practices.
As the Technical Director, you will guide a team specializing in Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs). This senior role requires over 15 years of expertise in managing multi-disciplinary projects and navigating regulatory frameworks in Ontario or Canada. Your leadership will develop regulatory roadmaps and foster stakeholder collaboration to ensure project compliance and success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert guidance on comprehensive EIAs across sectors

• Develop environmental permit plans supporting project sustainability

• Conduct quality reviews of EIAs and associated documentation

• Consult with Indigenous communities and stakeholders for engagement

• Drive business development by identifying and supporting proposals
Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in environmental studies or related field

• 15+ years managing EIAs in Ontario or across Canada

• Proven project management in multi-disciplinary team settings

• Strong understanding of regulatory processes and permit requirements

• Experience in business development and proposal writing
